Skate for Concussions 1st Annual Fundraiser Event
Every weekend over 15,000 community residents, of all ethnic backgrounds, frequent the downtown Silver Spring area to enjoy shopping, restaurants, and theaters. However, on January 24-26 at the Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink (which sits in the heart of downtown Silver Spring), the ice rink will be the center of attention. The success of the 1st Annual “I Promise” Skate for Concussions weekend will be the collective effort of SAFEO, Downtown Silver Spring, the Children’s National Medical Center, the Montgomery County Department of Recreation, and the generous support and participation from sponsors like you.
The inaugural kickoff of the weekend will be held January 24. It will be the start of a weekend filled with awareness, entertainment and giving, which we look to continue a tradition of excellence through the financial sponsorship from organizations like you! Serving as a sponsor is an opportunity for your organization to develop and steward a relationship with the over 15,000 residents who frequent the downtown Silver Spring area. It also provides your organization the opportunity to reach out to those who support the mission of the “I Promise” campaign.
