SAFEO presents the Youth Healthy Lifestyles Basketball Camp, a camp designed to encourage Price George’s County youth to stay active and healthy during the summer.
All participants will receive:
- Daily basketball skills development from top area coaches
- Nutritional education and healthy lifestyles training sessions from a licensed nutrition
- Training on how to plant their own vegetables by the University of Maryland “Master Gardening” Horticulturalist
- Community Service hours for participating in the healthy foods outreach survey
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks throughout the day
- Camp Participation T-Shirt
- Free tickets to see the Maryland Terps play the Howard Bisons on August 31st
The camp costs $100 / week for county residents and government employees. $125 / week for non-residents)
